CafePress has Frak Earth t-shirts!

...apparently, I need this t-shirt. :-)

(Blatantly inspired by a recent post by [livejournal.com profile] laurenhat.)

Some of my favorite odd t-shirts and their reactions:

- Eschew Obfuscation

Either snickering, scratching of heads, or gaping mouths.

- And God Said...

...And There Was Light.

Last time I took PHYS 251 (Heat, Electricity, and Optics) at IUPUI in 1985, the professor told me not to wear it during an upcoming test. The version of the shirt I had at the time had the equations on the back, so I tried to protest that I couldn't see them. "But the people sitting behind you can" was his response. :-)

- It's All About Me

Giggling.

- bib'li-o-hol'ism n. books, of books: the habitual longing to purchase, read, store, admire, and consume books in excess.

Generally, people don't notice that one to where the reaction is obvious to me, anyway. Sometimes I'll get someone squinting to read all of the definition, followed by a giggle.

- Art Rock Café - Colorado (In the Hard Rock Café logo style, with petroglyphs in the logo.)

No one really seems to get that one.

- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's "Ride to Cure Diabetes" - Death Valley - October 26, 2002. - Finisher

That isn't funny, but means a lot to me, given what I had to do to get it. Most people around here don't seem to notice it, though.

When Toni and I were in London, I got a London Underground Way Out sign shirt, but I misjudged European sizes (British, anyway), and it has never really fit. :-(
