And the books keep coming...
Apr. 14th, 2003 12:55 pmIn the Amazon order I picked up today (it came to my office last week while I was in California), along with my new radar detector (to keep me company on those boring drives ;-)), and the special, two-disc DVD of Singin' in the Rain and the DVD set for Father Ted: Series 3, the following books got added to "the pile":
- Frozen Desserts: The Definitive Guide to Making Ice Creams, Ices, Sorbets, Gelati, and Other Frozen Delights by Caroline Liddell & Robin Weir - a proven, terrific recipe book for use with our ice cream maker.
- The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde - I was fascinated by one of the games at ACUS last month (that I didn't play in, but
semperfiona did, and even brought her character and the concept to the "Playing Favourites" game in the last slot at the con) that happened to be based on the concept in this book.

I'm curious because I already have it on DVD, but if the extras are enticing enough, I might have to buy the two-disk set.
