Just what I needed...
Apr. 13th, 2003 03:46 pm...more books!! Went to a couple of places this afternoon with
computerchix, and added to the collection.
Ordered yesterday from Amazon:
From Half Price Books:
From Borders:
And I still have 120 pages of Tigana to finish, not to mention quite a stack of stuff calling my name (read me... reeeead meeee...)
Totally Non Sequitur: We went to lunch at On the Border, and this thought has occurred to me, now that I've been to different locations of the restaurant chain in California, Colorado, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana: This may sound a bit crass, but do they have a minimum cup size requirement for the job of Hostess? I'm just wondering...
Ordered yesterday from Amazon:
- Laurell K. Hamilton Set - Guilty Pleasures, The Laughing Corpse, Circus of the Damned and The Lunatic Cafe by Laurell K. Hamilton - The first four in the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series, so I can start at the beginning.
From Half Price Books:
- Bring Me the Head of Prince Charming by Roger Zelazny & Robert Sheckley - This looks like it has potential to be hilarious.
- A Civil Campaign by Lois McMaster Bujold - Filling in another spot in the Vorkosigan series.
- Obsidian Butterfly by Laurell K. Hamilton - Filling a spot in the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series which I still haven't started.
From Borders:
- The Hours by Michael Cunningham - I quite enjoyed the movie, and want to compare to the book.
- The Get Fuzzy Experience by Darby Conley - The latest strip collection, finally.
And I still have 120 pages of Tigana to finish, not to mention quite a stack of stuff calling my name (read me... reeeead meeee...)
