Nice evening...

Just got back to my Sunnyvale, CA, hotel from spending a nice evening with firecat and the OH. Of course, I had to check my usual stuff online before hitting the sack. Met Isis, the new resident cat. Enjoyed some really good Chinese food, but mostly just chatted and laughed all evening. It may be a business trip, but I've met new (IRL, anyway), and spent a little more time with some I'd met previously, of whom I would truly consider good people. An appellation I don't utter lightly.

(And writing of dinner reminded me - must go Google now. Who the heck was General Tso, and why does he have a spicy chicken dish named after himself?)

I imagine General Tso and General Tsao (both of whom have recipes named after them) would meet on the battlefield and share deglazing techniques. But they're probably just different ways to transliterate the same name . . . *sigh*. No. I like my story better.

OH=Outlaw Husband. They are not legally married, but have had a committment ceremony, and wear rings, etc.
