Ahhh... Glorious Caffeine...

I think it was a migraine, but I caught it very early. Not with an Imitrix - those are at home. While I was not thinking clearly, computerchix reminded me to get some caffeine, so I'm drinking a Diet Coke. I'm not even done with it yet, and the migraine-like symptoms are almost completely gone. I still have a headache, but at least I can function now.

which imitrex form do you take? i have the injections. (ouch, but they tend to do the job.) and i have fiorenal tablets, i take them before i try the imitrex (unless it is crazy out of hand already.)

with none around i go for the caffeine and gatorade (i always end up dehydrated with a migraine).

I take the pills, but if I don't do it very early, it still does nothing. Never tried fiorenal.

i never tried the imitrex pills. the doc tried me on the nasal inhaler, which gave me nothing but a nasty tasting post nasal drip, and then went to the injections.

I'm funny, sometimes the caffinine works, sometimes it just makes it worse.

ughhhhhhhhh...glad you were able to catch it!!! gods but they suck...I take fiorinal also and I take nadolol as a preventative (which works pretty well because I was having them a couple of times a week and they were wretched...now I get one maybe once or twice a month)hope you have some fun on your trip west!
