Environment Canada: Canadian Hurricane Center
Except for the recent current Hurricane Kyle and providing general info for travelers on other ones, I suppose, it never occurred to me that Environment Canada would even have a Hurricane Center. :-)

They're usually a category 1 or a tropical storm by the time we arrive, but Halifax usually gets about four a year. We had Kyle yesterday - winds were gusting to about 110 km/hr in the harbour, about 90 in the city centre - and we were outside the main track. Yarmouth and Shelburne had full-fledged Cat 1.
