a virus?

Since [livejournal.com profile] joedecker came down with it, and I just learned through e-mail that the photo seminar leader, Rick, also has come down with it, I'm thinking we redub this the pogonip flu. I couldn't have been so flippant yesterday. ;-)

Hm. Are you sure it wasn't food poisoning?

Anyway, glad you're feeling better. :)

There's no telling for certain, but some of the first people who came down with it at the seminar who I think were from the SF Bay area mentioned something about other people "back home" having it. It was either brought in that way or someone at Nicely's who handled food was carrying it.

I hope I stay decidedly unhip :)

Feel better, Joe.

'pogonip'? (my first thought was 'unfortunate anagram there')

Pogonip is the ice fog that forms over the Mono Basin, within which we were frequently working at the photo workshop. I think the word is Paiute in origin.
