About the time I left work yesterday, I was starting to wonder if the dreaded Norwalk virus had caught up to me - I was feeling some digestive cramps and general malaise. Had a light dinner with a ginger beer, followed a while later by a glass of wonderful port, and that seems to have calmed things down. Must've been what I ate over the weekend.
Looking forward to going back to the regular Tuesday night contra dance here in Indy starting tonight. Well, for one week, anyway, as next Tuesday will probably be spent getting stuff ready for Mono Lake. I could tell Saturday in Urbana that I'd been away too long. I was still keeping up with the moves okay, but my stamina after four hours (of a planned seven) dance was shot. Fortunately, the Tuesday ones here are two hours. I don't think I've been since the week before Thanksgiving due to other trips and the lack of dances on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
This weekend I will be working in the darkroom a bit on Friday night. I want to take a print of my Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone/Lower Falls 4x5 shot to the critique at the Mono Lake seminar, and I seem to have given away the last one I had. Hmmmm... ;-) No complaints - that's what the darkroom is for. :-) Saturday and Sunday, I plan on spending with
computerchix (hopefully, she'll be feeling better - I continue to worry about her bronchitis). If she's up for it, we're going with a group on Saturday evening to hear Hog Eye Navvy, a local acoustic band that combines Celtic and early American music with British and American sea chanteys. I saw them at the Indy Irish Fest last fall - they put on an excellent show. The crowd is encouraged to sing along, clink mugs, etc.
On the 16th, I fly out to Reno for the Winter Photography in the Mono Basin seminar, that Friday through Sunday, and fly home from Reno during the day Monday, 1/20.
On Friday, 1/24, I take
computerchix to the airport to meet
annaoj in Detroit for ConFusion 2003. I hope they have a wonderful time. I will. Upon dropping her off, I am heading to St. Louis to spend the weekend with
semperfiona.
The time does fill up quickly.

Date: 2003-01-07 07:22 am (UTC)Belly dancing definitely sounds like a workout in its own right. I've heard about "Dances for Universal Peace" but have yet to go to one to see what they're really like.
