quasigeostrophyWith less than a month before the tens digit in my age changes, a couple of people have asked what I want. I honestly don't think that changing of the tens digit would be a big deal (as I've posted about earlier with regard to commemorating dates and such) if it wasn't for my current lack of career employment (maybe this is my midlife crisis?). That's what I would put at the top of my wants list, but I know that one is on me.
Something I've talked about wanting to do long-term (won't happen very close to this year's actual birthday (again, no big deal)) is the U. S. Space and Rocket Center's Advanced Space Academy for Adults. In 2000, Toni sent me (and my friend M went along) for the shorter (weekend) introductory version, and it was a blast.
Some year, hopefully while Tom Murphy is still teaching it, I would love to go back to Yellowstone in the winter for Silence and Solitude: Winter Photography in Yellowstone, a photography seminar in one of my favorite places. Murphy is the photographer of this book, which I got a couple of years ago. Cost is quite a bit less than the adult space academy, but transportation logistics are a bit more difficult and expensive, particularly from here.
Anyway, if anyone really feels compelled to contribute to my greediness, here's a link to my Amazon Wish List. :-)
