Nice Day Yesterday
Jun. 5th, 2005 09:15 amYesterday, Toni and I went downtown to see the exhibit The Sensuous West: Photographs by Edward Weston at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art. It was cool to see some of Weston's works with which I wasn't as familiar, as well as some of the more well-known stuff. I still think my favorites are his shots of slices of cabbage, the white radishes, and peppers.
After the exhibit we came home for a bit, then went up to Anderson to a yummy pizza place, before finally seeing Kingdom of Heaven. Nice film. Not too bad from a historical standpoint, all things considered. Started off a bit slow, IMHO, but I started getting into it once Orlando Bloom's character actually got to Jerusalem. Maybe it was Eva Green. The eyes, the eyes. *whimper* :-)
