I forgot to mention that I finally picked up a trade paperback copy of Lois McMaster Bujold's Cordelia's Honor. On the return flight from SFO to MSP this morning, I read through the first 7 chapters of "Shards of Honor". It was slow going, but I think that was primarily due to my lack of sleep/brain dead mental state. I'm going to give it a rest and pick it back up after I'm fully conscious again. I definitely am already hooked!

The Fremont Borders had several entries in the series. I think I was restrained only due to my attempting to conserve luggage space (and California's sales tax still being higher than Indiana's). Me, spend money on books? :-)

I just forwarded him the URL for this entry. He is an official LJ-hater, but he will read specific entries I suggest. (That may have something to do with his also being an official big gossip. :-)

Yes, I heard that his dislike (distaste?) for LJ is legendary. That's okay, though. :-)
