Creator Commentary Coming!

This little curtain call pic tells me Brooke McEldowney has definitely moved Thorax from 9 Chickweed Lane to Pibgorn as at least a major recurring character. Makes sense, since he sold his farm to Juliette when she quit the university. And for those confused by Pibgorn, note the creator's comments about what is starting Monday:

In preparation for the next Pibgorn Märchenerzählung, I am conducting research that devours a lot of time – time I would ordinarily spend drawing the strip. To finish this research, I decided to run in this spot the very first Pibgorn story, illuminated with notes and reflections on each of the 20 original installments. They will be run Monday through Friday for the next four weeks, after which I’ll be back with the new story. I’m buying time, with your indulgence, and I hope you will bear with me. I usually enjoy director commentaries on DVDs. This should be good, too.

Yeah I thought about that. I think his little plea for patience may pay off with the next story, though. At least he's hoping. :-)
