Stolen from the fantabulous [livejournal.com profile] cjsmith:

Tell me three things I ought to do before I die.

Then, if you care to, post this in your LJ and ask your friends to do the same.

I'm making this shit up as I go.

1) Write your autobiography. You don't have to do anything else with it, but write it.
2) Visit me. ;)
3) Take photographs off the Great Barrier Reef.

1) I've contemplated it. Why, I don't know. :-)

2) On "the list". ;-)

3) I'd love to if I could do them without my fear of being in the water (I can't swim well at all) could remain in check. I managed to overcome it to go (and thoroughly enjoy) whitewater rafting, so why not that?

I can't swim at all either.

I managed to snorkel over the outer reef lip at Molokini in Hawaii with a life vest, basically all by myself (though that hadn't been the plan). It was definitely worth it.

OK, yes, that last one is me being silly.

Australia and/or New Zealand are leading contenders for #1.

If a small art school's gallery in Jasper, Indiana, counts, I can cross #2 off the list. :-)

*goes off to work on #3* ;-)

I definitely have New Zealand on my want-to-visit list.

Cool! :)

Lemme know if you get it. :)

Cool! :)

*grin* Of course, that doesn't mean I'm not still shooting for a larger, more prominent gallery. :-)

1) rent a houseboat on Lake Powell and sleep on the roof of it.
2) visit a small city called Buffalo.
3) learn a new language.

1) Mmmmm... Lake Powell... Haven't actually made it there, yet. So much I'd love to see and do around it, and that sounds really awesome.
2) Subtlety. Nice. ;-) *puts on list for when next gets free time*
3) I'm not sure which one I'd pick. I know enough to get my face slapped in about 10 different ones. Linguistics is a minor hobby of mine. :-)

1) Walk naked in the rain.
2) Learn to play a musical instrument (preferably a portable one).
3) Skinny dip in Lake Superior.

1) I've tried to put a rain flap on a tent while naked in the rain. Does that count?
2) Thanks for being specific - I can play keyboards decently, but they're not too portable.
3) Brrrr! :-)

1) Bike southward along the Northern Californian coast.
2) In case you haven't already, give up on it all making sense.
3) Completely and utterly destroy an object in anger.

1) *adds to list for 'someday'* :-)
2) I'm pretty much already there.
3) Been a while - I think I'll have to revisit this one soon. :-)
