quasigeostrophyI'm home. Red eye flights are not fun, though this one wasn't as bad as some, as I had my half row to myself for both the trip from Las Vegas to Chicago-O'Hare and the short hop from O'Hare to Indy. United (and "Ted" (why did they come up with that?)) have redeemed themselves a bit in my book. Overall, it was a very good trip, even though I got some disturbing news on the homefront that I won't discuss here. 19 rolls of Velvia 35mm slide film shot, most of it by doing lots of bracketing at the Grand Canyon, but the last few rolls were taken at Zion National Park, the Amargosa Desert to the East of Death Valley, Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, and Hoover Dam.
Too brain dead to elaborate. More later. I can guarantee I won't catch up on LJ from the past week. Nudge me if I must see something.
