Tested the bullroarer earlier today. It sounds great! Of course, while practicing using it, I'll probably annoy neighbors for miles around.

Hey...if you're annoying the neighbors in the backyard, you aren't annoying people on LJ. ;)

When I start practicing bodhran on a regular basis, I won't be annoying people on LJ. As much.

Wanna place any bets the people who have all three of us on their friends lists start taking up a collection to buy Toni some sort of bizarre/eccentric/esoteric noisemaker that she needs to practice so we quit having nights where OUR HUMOR IS PASTEDE ON YAY ?

Just minutes ago I bought a didge on eBay. :)

These are good to learn on, inexpensive, and show up on eBay frequently for about $15 less than the website price. The gold snake pattern is quite striking.

Funny, I started looking at didgeridoos on the web yesterday afternoon. I found one that looks like a good beginner's didge on Amazon - I put it on my Wish List, which all the relatives use for Xmas shopping. If I don't get it that way, I'll probably hit eBay after the holidays. :-)
