Fishnets... So Many Fishnets

quasigeostrophy*ahem* Eye candy all over the stage, it was hard to watch any particular part for very long.

soaring_phoenix, mac_arthur_park and I went to see the stage musical Chicago tonight at Clowes Hall. With regard to seeing stage plays, I can die now. I have wanted to see this on stage for years! Years!! The movie was great, but this... just... Guh! The story just flows better, the humor is tighter, and everything is just more efficient and enjoyable. The cast looked to be having a ball up there, which I always appreciate noticing. Gregory Harrison was a good Billy Flynn. Not the range of Gere in the film, but he got the tongue-in-cheek nature of Flynn's part in the story down pat. And I think I'm in love with Bianca Marroquin, who played Roxie Hart. :-)
