Okay, so, we ended up taking the El anyway. gremlin44 met us at the station near her house. She, P, K, and asetwoman and topherscott all went to Leone's for dinner. The waitress couldn't come to the table without at least one utterance of the word excellent. She made quite an apology after spilling Toni's water glass. Sheesh.

It was very good to see gremlin44, P, and K again, and to meet asetwoman and topherscott. Had a good time just chatting, as well as trying to make one of K's toys speak dirty words that we would try to spell phonetically into it.

When we got back to the El stop on the blue line where we would have transferred, taken the green or orange line for one stop, and then walked for a few blocks back to the hotel, we noticed it was raining very heavily. Toni hailed a cab. No long walk, stayed dry, five bucks.

Almost time for bed.

Wanted to make sure you know that when I was hugging Toni and saying thank you last night that I meant thank you to both of you. It was a very good evening that was sorely needed by all of us. And it was great to see you again and get to hear you talk more. :-)

We bow before the master of the Leapfrog ABC toy. Perhaps we should send an indignant letter to Leapfrog about their obscene toys. :-)
