Ankle doing better. Wore the air cast brace yesterday while cutting the grass, but it was really annoying for most of the time I was doing that. Of course, that's mostly because our yard is not very flat, I'm guessing. Didn't finish the yard yesterday, though, as the mower wouldn't restart after I took a break. So, I gave up and came in, took a shower, and iced the ankle. It started to get pretty sore, but not nearly as bad as it used to after cutting the grass, so I think the last couple of weeks of wearing the brace, stretching, and Naproxen have helped. After icing it on an off for a couple of house, I put the brace back on and the pain stopped completely.
This morning I was subjected to the Proximity Effect - a service tech from the mower dealership dropped by to look at the lawnmower, and it started right up. Of course. So, I spent 15 minutes this morning cutting the last part of the back yard, and have been taking it easy today. I have a wedding rehearsal to attend at 7pm tonight for a wedding I've got to shoot tomorrow afternoon. Toni's (hopefully) going with me as an assistant.
