Woke up later than usual this morning (didn't sleep too well last night) with a headache I couldn't shake. It wasn't caffeine dep - my daily dose didn't help. Already took three Naproxen for my ankle when I got up, so I didn't want to take any other pain killers.

Ran some errands after breakfast - photo lab (picked up three entries for this year's state fair, mounted and ready - they look schweet!), video studio (owner wanted my input on remodeling of the edit suite), Trader Joe's (been out of ginger for a while. Also got some chicken tamales, dal makhani, and Valrhona chocolate), Marsh (milk, bread, looked for low carb english muffins for Toni to no avail). Headache persisted, but I went upstairs and started futzing in the library by moving the keyboard, and just went from there. I put together some modular storage racks for the library and spare bedroom/soon-to-be-Al's-room, moved a lot of books around, filling one of the smaller bookcases downstairs with nice coffee table books and putting my photography technique books in the office. Also dragged a lot of other stuff out of the spare bedroom. I'll be making a Half Price Books and Goodwill run tomorrow, I think. First thing I need to figure out tomorrow is where/how to store my camera equipment.

Headache is gone. Fortunately, some of my headaches will go away if I can manage to occupy myself enough not to think about it. I'm glad this was one.

I'm glad that the headache went bye-bye. I'm pretty convinced that there isn't much worse than stubborn headaches that won't go away for days/weeks on end. *bows to the Naproxyn God*.

OOOOooooh Trader Joe's chicken tamales. I could just die. Those are my ultimate favorite.

I didn't know Al is moving in - things seem to be getting better and better for you and your family.

Happy for you!

Well, I'm glad she's moving here, but it's under mixed circumstances. Her ex is taking her kids (2 boys) and moving in with his parents in New Jersey, so she's coming here at least temporarily to try to find a job and get back on her feet. With no job/car in Bristol, it's probably easier for her to transition with us rather than trying to go straight to the NYC area.

Oh, I'm sorry for her troubles. Hopefully, happier days are ahead.
