Break Time!

Finished with Phase One of the Library in The Decluttering Project^TM. Got all the maps and miscellaneous travel info from two-plus four-drawer file cabinets to fit in one of the cabinets plus one banker's box. Moved all of Toni's Condensed Books into the hallway - they fill a volume of a little over three feet high by two square feet. Moving paperbacks from the spare bedroom into the library now. I think all of my photos/slides/negatives that are currently filling a corner of the spare bedroom will fit in the file cabinet I emptied in the basement, but that means a large upcoming phase of the project has to be sitting down and putting the negatives into protective plastic pages. This is a Good Thing^TM, because I need to do that anyway. May need a couple more drawer frames and some hanging folders, but that won't be a road block.

I love the feeling of flipping back through pages and pages of sheets with negatives in them. Mmmmm. :-)

I love the smell of cellulose in the morning. Smells all... picturey.

I used to love the smell of 110 film cartridges sealed inside their foil-and-paper wrappers. It smelled like vacation. Yay!
