...that I don't get this? If I want to blur water or otherwise drop the amount of light hitting the film, I control the shutter speed and/or the lens aperture. Hello? Does no one figure exposures anymore? Have cameras completely stopped having a Manual mode? Now, I totally understand graduated ND filters, and possibly even an occasional full one. To me, this is a sledgehammer. Particularly for $340.

The price certainly seems ridiculous. Isn't this just a pair of polarizers? I would think any camera that has the ability to take removable filters would also have, at the least, settable aperture or shutter speed.

That could be how they make it work (combining polarizers). I can understand all other kinds of filtration, but this... nah. If I need less light on the whole image, I underexpose.
