(It could be worse. Your work computer - yes, I know, don't rub it in - and work programs AND LJ could be giving you the same error. Or, better yet, you could be getting the Doc contains no Data on LJ and "Database Timeout" from your other pages.)
I've been at work 10 hours. I think it's starting to show.
And may I just say that although I've never been inclined to write fanfic based on other peoples' worlds, "The Doc Contains No Data" just somehow sounds like Star Trek Slash in the making. Cross-series Star Trek Slash at that.
I first uttered "There is no data, only Zuul" sometime during my senior year in high school, 1983-84. Some friends and I were at one of their houses, up very very late, while one of them was working on some data handling program in assembly language on the TRS-80 Color Computer (which each of us had and loved). D was so proud of what he'd done at one point, he urged us each to watch the screen as he ran the program and it was supposed to bring up his results.
After a slight pause, the screen filled with complete garbage characters of various pretty colors. D, perplexed, shrieked, "Where's the data!?"
I think it was close to 3:00am. My response, the line I already mentioned, was followed by literal ROTFL for several minutes. The movie Ghostbusters was still a recent memory.
