A little under two hours ago, I was all set to make a griping post about how annoying it is to miss a client meeting. I had driven 18 miles (one way) to the NW side of town to meet a wedding photography client at 10am at a Starbucks (gag!). I got there at 9:50 and waited until 10:20 to give up. I came back home and sent the client an e-mail wondering if I had messed something up or if she had an issue and couldn't make it, or if I had even picked the wrong Starbucks. Just as I hit 'send', my cell phone rang - she explained something had happened and made her run really late. No other appointments lined up, I told her if she still had time, I could be there in about 20 minutes. We met and discussed the shoot, etc. And the world was saved.
Now I'm about to nod off for a bit (didn't sleep well last night) and I'll probably do more organizing of the files on this laptop in preparation for some major app reinstallation.
Going to Louisville w/ Toni tomorrow to see her parents at their new place. I'm sure we'll visit her brother's family while we're down there.
