_Airport_ vs. _Airline_
May. 2nd, 2004 09:59 pmWatching Airline on A&E, I'm realizing that this show annoys me a hell of a lot more than the BBC-produced Airport. I absolutely love the latter show, available on the Discovery Wings channel and sometimes BBC America here in the U. S. The former seems to be filled with many more agitated, confrontational passengers. Say what you may about Southwest Airlines, but too many of the people I'm seeing on this show make me almost embarrassed to be a U. S. traveler. Too many of them seem to have an attitude that the world owes them something.

- "I'm an American citizen and I have a right to get on that airplane!" Excuse me? No, you don't.
