Three Questions Meme (from

Apr. 13th, 2004 06:23 pmAsk me 3 questions, no more no less. Three is the number of questions thou shalt ask, and the number of the questions asked shall be three. Four shalt thou not ask, neither ask thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out!

Date: 2004-04-13 04:32 pm (UTC)I'm so used to KJ, as it was all we had at my parents' house when I was growing up. But I know it has enough errors to choke a horse. I'd have to say, if I had time to learn enough of the languages, I'd prefer original Hebrew/Greek/Aramaic versions.
2. What's your favorite Creation Story?
If you mean something from the Old Testament, I'd have to say Job. I like the patience and humility exemplified therein.
3. You will go blind or deaf tomorrow. Which do you choose? (Yes, you get to pick.)
Deaf. Hands down. I'm way too visual. Besides, I've probably already lost a little of my hearing anyway.

Date: 2004-04-13 04:36 pm (UTC)I was more thinking along the lines of "turtles all the way down" or "Drops of blood fell and suddenly there were people" or "the Great Spirit sneezed and there we all were"...but I like your answer just fine, too. :)
My favorite book's probably Ecclesiastes (or however the hell you spell it) or Ruth (and the KJV of Ruth, too, but that's me being a writing wonk because the language is so beautiful).
well really, in such a situation, what other questions would you ask?
2.)What is your quest?
3.)What is your favorite color?

Date: 2004-04-13 04:55 pm (UTC)Heh. I could answer this hypothetically with George R. R. Martin's as-yet-unfinished A Feast for Crows, but what's probably at the bottom of my metaphorical stack that I already own is Laurell K. Hamilton's latest Anita Blake novel, Cerulean Sins (because I still haven't read #s 2 through 10 in that series yet).
2) You've just won the lottery; what's the first thing you do with your loot?
New house somewhere with driveway not on an annoying steep hill, with room enough for sweeties and all our stuff; car for Al; PC with enough horsepower that I can do SDI uncompressed video editing.
3) Which is more fun to play with, finger paints or Play-Doh?
Are they edible finger paints? ;-)

2. what is your favorite snack?
Crystallized ginger.
3. what music do you like to listen to most when driving?
I'll go from Kate Bush to The Alan Parsons Project to The Cranberries to Barenaked Ladies to Tom Lehrer to Värttinä, often in the same CD randomization.
