The one I can't believe I haven't seen?
Doctor Zhivago

The one I really wish I had skipped?
Probably Home Alone.

Best flick?
Hmmm... from this list? Based on my interpretation of cinematic artistry, it's between The Godfather, The Graduate, and M*A*S*H. Subject to change without notice. No rights reserved. :-)

The one I actually *enjoyed* the most?
Possibly The Sting. It's got one of my favourite plot styles.

The most over-hyped?
Matrix: Reloaded. No contest. I haven't even seen it, but no movie could stand up to the hype I perceived before its release.

The movie I should have seen just because everyone else has?
I don't generally do that.

The movie that surprised me the most for its inclusion?
I'd have to say Mrs. Doubtfire, because I didn't think it was very big at the box office. None of the entries surprise me much, though.

I can't believe you haven't seen Finding Nemo, actually.

I don't know why. It just strikes me as a film you 'should' have seen.

I notice our lists aren't that different, and that we both had the same reaction upon seeing Zhivago on the list.

I figure I'll get around to Finding Nemo eventually. It isn't calling out, "See me... seeeeee meeee!" though. While I can appreciate the difficulties in and the results of computer animation of underwater settings, a story about fish didn't interest me that much. As a child in the days before Discovery Networks, we watched a lot of documentaries on PBS, particularly Nova and National Geographic specials. I tolerated the ones with Jacques Cousteau because they were never as fascinating to me as other topics.

I noticed the overall similarity between our lists, too. :-)

I thought that about Finding Nemo too (eh, a story about fish), but it was better than I expected.
