- Heathers - The cult classic film with Winona Ryder & Christian Slater that deals with high school cliques, popularity, and teenage suicide. A must-see dark comedy.

Date: 2004-03-16 11:17 am (UTC)The rules:
- Eight lines
- Each line is two dactyls (DAH-da-da accents), except the fourth and eighth lines, which are one dactyl plus an extra strong beat (DAH-da-da-DA).
- The first line should be dactylic rhyming nonsense.
- The second line should be the name of a historical person (though I've seen this rule broken the most).
- The fifth, sixth, or seventh line should be a single double-dactylic (six syllables) word.
- The fourth and eighth lines must rhyme.
I find it to be extremely challenging, particularly in coming up with the hexasyllabic single word line.
