Watching the BBC's As Time Goes By on DVD:

computerchix (regarding Geoffrey Palmer's character, Lionel Hardcastle): I almost hate to say this, but he reminds me a lot of you.

And Dame Judi Dench won the only BAFTA award for this series? Palmer deserved one even more so, IMHO.
