Back at work this morning. Bleah. Could have definitely slept in again, but I need to conduct a couple of phone interviews and run some errands later today, anyway. And, why do I always need gas in my car on the coldest mornings?

Unfortunately, it seems I did give [livejournal.com profile] computerchix this lousy stomach flu. I guess we do indeed share everything. I just hope she's better in time for her weekend at ConFusion. One of my employees caught it over the weekend as well, so it certainly is working its way around the country in multiple threads.

To do:
  • Make sure [livejournal.com profile] computerchix has enough liquids and bland foods to help get over the flu as quickly as I am.
  • Take film from Mono Lake to Firehouse today. Pick it up tomorrow later today - found out they're open until 5:45pm.
  • Check Best Buy for stock of the "Coupling" series 1 DVDs.
  • Check Kohl's Sears first, then Kohl's, for a replacement winter headband, as I seem to have lost mine over the weekend somewhere along Lee Vining Creek.
  • Check Sears for new Dockers, tan and green. I had thought I had reduced the size of my wallet to keep from wearing those holes there!
  • Get more Provia film from Cord.
  • Do next two week's schedules for my employees.
  • Finish laundry.

  • Pack.

I'm sure there should be more on that list...

I am immensely pleased. Just gave all ~432 shots a once-over in the little slide viewer, and I can say the following:

1. The EOS-1v was a worthy investment.
2. Ditto for the seminar/workshop.
3. Many, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] joedecker for letting me know about the workshop!
4. I am immensely pleased.

I am going to have one hell of a time culling out the bad stuff. Granted, not every exposure (especially since I did bracket almost every composition) nor every composition is terrific, but I am very, very happy with the results. I think this batch may have my highest percentage of "keepers" ever. Woo-fucking-hoo!! I need to set aside some time possibly next week to pick out some to get drum-scanned.

Did I mention I am immensely pleased?
