The first episode isn't even done airing, and already I have these observations:

- It's been dumbed down (had to point out "the bisexuality card", make the condom situation a bigger joke).
- The deliveries are wrong/off.
- The laugh track is annoying.
- Despite presence of Jeff, his "Jeffisms" (flushable, the zone) have been eliminated.

Meh.

The good news is that I discovered that despite fans of the BBC's Strange (Richard Coyle's other series) disappointment over that show's cancellation, it may free him up to be available for the fourth series of Coupling for BBC (his availability was at risk).

Re the condom joke...I saw in the paper that they did that because "British loos all have condom machines" (and by implication, American ones don't).

Oh yeah, Americans are too dumb to figure out that *some* restrooms have condom machines in them.

Meh. I don't think I'll be making any effort to watch. Now, if you bring Season 3...

Oh, I can bring Season 3, but for the foreseeable future it won't have the final episode, thanks to the cable box resetting while I was in Toronto.

Still six eps I haven't seen, though. ;-)

I was decidedly unimpressed. Luckily, I wasn't expecting to be otherwise.
