computerchix and I went to see it Wednesday night, and IMHO it was great fun. I liked it much better than the first Lara Croft flick, which I liked a lot. Considering the confines of the genre, the story seemed more fleshed out, as did Lara's character. I was able to suspend disbelief enough to enjoy the comic book action, and I think there was certainly enough Angelina Jolie to drool over. I really liked her scene on horseback. That riding coat: Mmmmm... There was some good humor from Lara and the supporting characters and even some of the action. Not enough Chris Barrie this time around, though.
