I completely fail to understand why a blackout is worthy of mass hysteria. Yes, I was bored. Yes, it was dark. No, the world is not coming to an end. If hospitals have backup generators, just what the fark is the big deal?

I completely agree. Yes, it sucked, and yes, I had to do something a little crazy to make sure that my mom got home from work okay (see journal), but it wasn't BLACK THURSDAY OF DOOM AND CHAOS, fer crying out loud. Seeing the stars last night was lovely.

I am upset that the Radiohead concert is postponed, tho. Does that make me selfish? ;)
