Whew!

Narrowly missed Bambi this morning on my way to work! Coming around a curve on Sargent Road (windy, hilly route through the woods) at just under 40mph and a fawn was standing in a puddle in my lane. Zie froze for a second as I moved into the other lane (seeing no on-coming traffic ahead) and slowed down, and turned around and went back into the woods as I passed. What is it with me and deer, anyway?
