A lovely weekend so far...
May. 4th, 2003 09:57 amYesterday morning, the three of us, in turn, talked briefly by phone with
After checking out the museum and picking up something cute for Toni at the gift shop, Fi and I walked around the canal downtown at White River State Park, checking out some of the public art. There were a number of oddly-decorated Indy car replicas about, as part of the 500 Festival. The weather was gorgeous, if a bit breezy. Fi and I came home and the three of us ordered Chinese delivery from a new place nearby. It was okay. After some more wonderful snuggle time, Fi headed home about 10pm.
I was getting concerned yesterday evening that I was getting a cold - I felt an irritating sore throat coming on, and was a bit stuffy on and off all day. This morning, the sore throat is gone, so I'm hoping I can blame it on walking around in the cool breeze yesterday afternoon. Fingers crossed...
Today looks to be errands and chores with as much laziness as I can squeeze in. So far, I've done the dishes, made Toni some tea, and little else. Need to help her with laundry, go to the grocery, remember that it's trash night, and generally take care of Toni so her mouth can heal.
