Scary Concept

While waiting for the elevator after physics lecture today, I noticed a small sign tacked on the wall:

IUPUI Biology Club Flower/Plant Sale - April 26 & 27

Knowing the Biology Department has a greenhouse on the roof of the science building, I started wondering what sort of genetic monstrosities they could try to foist off on an unsuspecting student looking to green up his or her apartment. I had visions of Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors.

Central Indiana Storm Reports & Nice Photo of a Wall Cloud in Tipton County from Yesterday

Tipton County is the next one to the north of us here (we're in SE Hamilton County, so it's about 30 miles N/NW). Here, we got lucky and the line slowed and weakened, giving us a lot of rain (we're currently under a Flood Statement) and lightning. We went to bed around 11pm EDT, and the weather radio never sounded its alarm again through the rest of the night.
