Most Reliable Oracle Ever

While dusting and vacuuming upstairs this afternoon, I picked up the Magic 8-Ball sitting on the little bookcase right outside our bedroom and, just for giggles, asked it if I was going to successfully complete my Ph.D. in Meteorology. It didn't respond with one of the vague or even poetic answers. What popped right to the surface of the window was the simple YES.

I am highly amused by the fact that this new course being offered in the Purdue College of Science's Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences actually has an exclamation point in the course name:

EAS 151: OIL! (Note: PDF at Link.)

I even confirmed it via the Schedule of Classes.

It might be interesting if I have to take any electives within the department.
