aliciar and I are safe in Ipswich, MA after leaving Bristol, TN yesterday morning. Who's idea was this one-day drive, anyway? ;-) And what is up with the weather here? Last I checked the forecast, it was at least supposed to be in the 50s. D'oh! Oh well, I think the cold I was catching the last couple of days has finally settled into the annoying phase. I broke a fever overnight.
Metgeekchick on our way yesterday - stopped for lunch in northern Virginia. It was a lot of fun, and I'm glad we finally met in person. :-D
Today, we're going to take the commuter rail into Boston and hit some bookstores in Harvard Square. Beyond that, we're winging it. Our friends/hosts here in Ipswich have suggested canoeing on the Ipswich River sometime on the weekend.
