It's been one of those days. Lots of boring mundane administrivia at work today. Miscommunication with the Subaru salesman last Friday led to wasted time and a wasted trip at lunch (got the wrong week for getting the bed cover installed on the Baja), and before leaving work I whacked my head on the underside of my desk. So, tonight I'm vegetating after having some leftover steak and broccoli for dinner. I may try to read some more of George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones.

Thanks computerchix and semperfiona for the phone calls to help me stay in a decent mood. And I heard from aliciar after she got into town. She and computerchix are headed to Chicago tonight, as Toni has a class there through Thursday. The two of them will be back here late Thursday evening, and Al will be staying until Monday. Yay! We may go see "Good Grief!" and "Titanic Science" at The Children's Museum on Saturday.

In the meantime, I'm solo for the next few evenings. I'm going to try to get back to contra dance tomorrow night, and I need to mow the lawn - probably Wednesday night. Sometime, I also need to finalize my photography entries for this year's Indiana State Fair and get the form sent in before June 30th.
