Sheesh! I was just on my way back to the office from having lunch at home and had to wait for a deer crossing. Not just one, mind you, but five fairly mature does crossing the wooded, windy road I normally take. All of them took their sweet time crossing, paying no mind that I was sitting their waiting. Not that I really mind much, of course - they're quite pretty, but anyone who may remember this incident from last summer will understand why I'm a bit skittish around deer when in a vehicle.

From [livejournal.com profile] red_frog:

1. City, country, or suburbs?

I think I'd prefer either the country or the suburbs, although I've had my fill of suburban subdivisions. If the city was "relaxed" enough, I'd consider it.

2. What's one thing that you have never done that you would be perfectly happy to never do in this lifetime? (Yes, I stole this from Wren. It's a good question.)

Work fast food service.

3. What do you put in your coffee?

Anything except coffee. Can't stand the stuff.

4. In an ideal world, what pets would you have?

I always liked the ferrets we had for a while when I was young. I am quite partial to cats, if my allergies weren't an issue.

5. Is there a moral or ethical stance you would like to take but find too restricting (e.g., vegetarianism)?

Hmmm... Probably environmentalism. I'm fairly liberal on that front, but trying to look at the issues from a balanced perspective, to make certain impact in some aspects calls for radical social change, which I guess could be expressed as restrictive.
