May. 30th, 2003 11:07 amWell, it either isn't strep throat, or if it was, it's well past the worst part. The little in-the-doctor's-office culture test was negative, and they're sending out another culture for a lab test - could take a week. Fever topped out at 102 Wednesday night, but had broken by this time yesterday morning. Still feeling weak, tired, and have a sore throat from hell, mainly when I swallow. Doctor gave me a week's worth of Singulair for the associated respiratory symptoms and said to take it easy over the weekend.
