Just got back from Chicago a little while ago. Beat 3 1/2 hours getting home, and didn't even speed that much this time - of course, it helps that I wasn't drinking Diet CokeTM like water. Driving along I-65 between Indy and Chicago in strong crosswinds is hell for steering, though - there is nothing to stop the winds up there.

Had a good time taking pics of [livejournal.com profile] gremlin44's little one and two of her friends' little ones as well. I really appreciated her and P putting me up overnight. Will get the proofs done later tonight or tomorrow (probably depending on whether or not [livejournal.com profile] computerchix has to work late this evening), and I wasn't at all turned off of the idea of shooting pics of children. It's a logistical challenge, though, with more than one very mobile toddler at a time, making sure I'm in a position to photograph the one who is going to give me something good to photograph. Multiple mobile toddlers are a study in Brownian motion. :-) The weather in the Chicago area wasn't too bad - yesterday was grey and wet and a bit chilly, but we found an indoor play zoo at the Brookfield Zoo which turned out to be a nice setting for the children. This morning was warmer and even a little sunny, and I got some more pics of K playing outside at home before I left the Chicago area.

Taking a break for while, catching up on e-mail and LJ. Tomorrow is more work on the business web site and possibly new kitchen faucet installation (I want to get the latter done sometime this week).
