Reload page in style: site light

Tonight, we retired the '95 Dodge Neon and brought home a bouncing baby '03 Yellow/Silver Subaru Baja!! We ended up being able to get what we wanted on the one they had, so we didn't have to wait the 60-90 day lead time to order. I am so pleased - no more dealing with pushing the Neon up the driveway in winter, among other things. :-)

The road I usually take to work is through the woods, has a lot of hills, and is just generally cool. Well, I took the new Baja that way for the first time this morning. All I'm going to say is that road is going to get me into trouble. ;-)

Your new vehicle sounds great, too. Actually, I'm jealous of the scenery. I miss the hills and trees from where I grew up. It's too darn flat around where I am now!

Well, these are "hills and trees" for Indiana values thereof. No comparison to the SF Bay area, of which I've become much more familiar this summer.

Well, the hills and trees I grew up with were of the Southern Illinois kind. But Indiana or California, the hills and trees have got to be more plentiful than where I am. I've never been to the SF bay area. Did you take pictures?

BTW, I saw the picture of your new truck. -Very nice-.

I take plenty of pictures. :-) Problem is, I don't own a digital camera, and I'm very lax about scanning in my pics. Just smack me around.

Or maybe you could show them to me sometime in person. Then you can be as lax as you want about scanning them.
